Exhibits, Halloween events, Music, and more

There is a Halloween Hayride Spooktacular at Stew Leonard's,
3-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 3-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 31. $1 per person.

The Philip Johnson Glass House, (part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation), now has tickets on sale for the upcoming season, it's open May 1- Oct. 31, 2009.

Connecticut homeowner rebate/loan program


Governor Rell announced a rebate and loan program for homeowners to help conserve energy, and save some money.

A new $5 million program will include rebates for homeowners who upgrade their old furnaces with newer, more efficient ones, and $2 million for loans to help pay for other energy-saving improvements.
